The Winter-Caravanning
|
The Champ du Moulin, situated at the mountain village of Venosc in the
Veneon valley; 930 meters high, is the winter caravanning site for Les 2 Alpes ski resort (1650 m. high). It is just a 300m walk from Venosc cable car that takes you up to les
2 Alpes.
At les 2 Alpes you can ski from 1600m up to
3600m high, with more than 200 km ski runs. You can ski in winter and in summer at les 2 Alpes.
The Venosc cable car run in summer and in winter. It's price is included in the ski-pass price.

The Champ du Moulin offer you:
- from 30 to 60 pitches (according to snow conditions) for your caravan or your motorhome with electric
hook up possible (6 or 10 amps). Sanitary, game room and TV room heated, hot water as much as you like.
- accommodations : chalets, mobil-homes, caravan and apartments.

- discounts on equipment hiring (ski, shoes, snowboard...) with
Venosc Sport shop at les 2 Alpes. There, you
can also have a locker to store your equipement by night, even if it's your's (a fee is charged in this case).
- the skiing possibilities of a very big ski resort in the charm and peacefull life
of a small mountain village.
The campsite is easily accessible in winter from Lyon, Grenoble, Bourg d'Oisans
(no road bend, no high altitude road).
Other ski resort in the area: the Alpe d'Huez (20 km) and Serre-Chevalier ( 60 km by col du Lautaret, sometimes difficult in winter)

Some explanations :
- a caravaneige is a campsite equiped to welcome caravans and motorhomes in winter.
The caravaneiges are generally located in mountains. They allow their customers to enjoy from snow and winter sports :
ski, snowboard, snowshoes or simply to be at rest in the white landscape.
- the 2 Alpes ski resort was created by the inhabitants of the Venosc and Mont de Lans villages ; today, it is yet
administratively shared between the Venosc and Mont de Lans communes
