| 1 - Opening dates and hours

- Opening dates of the camping : December 15th > April 30th and 1st of June > 15th of September

| 2 - How to pay, when

- How to pay :
= credit card (Visa, Mastercard, Maestro), = cash (euros), = cheques (only french banks), = bank to bank transfer (ask us our bank details). you must take all bank fees on your side - When to pay : = for a camping pitch : deposit when you book, balance the day before to leave = for an accommodation : deposit when you book, balance one month before your arrival date. The balance will be requested with the booking if you book less than one month before to arrive. |

| 3 - To go shopping, supermarkets

On the campsite : bread, croissants every morning, basic provisions (milk, coffee, wine...), camping gas.
All sort of shops : Bourg d'Oisans (12 km by car), les 2 Alpes (15 mn by cable car) Market : on Saturday morning : Bourg d'oisans, on Tuesday morning (Summer only) : Venosc Gas bottles : we sell 13 kg gas bottles butane and propane from Antargaz. If you don't have same bottles, we can lend you one. You will have to give it back before leaving. You will pay for the full gas content. |

| 4 - The prices : camping, ski, swimming pool

- Our prices, camping and accommodations.
Prices are indicated per night for camping places and accommodations. Multiply by the number of nights. The system allows you to calculate the total price of your stay and you can, if you want, book on line : price of your stay - Prices of the ski-pass for les 2 Alpes : see our page stay and ski . Add the ski-pass price to the price of your stay - Prices for the public swimming-pool :Summer 2008 : adult 3 euros, child (less than 13) 2 euros, from 5.30 pm : 1 euro per person |

- We do not organise entertainment or sporting competitions .
- On the campsite, you will find a TV room, leisure room, ping-pong tables, bowls game - In the surroundings of the campsite, you will find almost all montain sports and activities : leisure, activities |

| 6 - Is it necessary to book, and how

We recommend you to book in advance.
In High Season (Winter school holidays, July-August) you may not find a free place without booking. In Winter time, it happens that we can just prepare the booked places. To book online : booking , easy and quick. Have a look at our booking conditions |

| 7 - How far from les 2 Alpes, from the ski pist

To go to les 2 Alpes from the camping - winter caravanning :
- 5 minutes on foot to join Venosc cable car, then 10 minutes with the cable car. To see the way from the campsite to les 2 Alpes with the cable car" In les 2 Alpes, when you go out of Venosc cable car, you have 5 minutes walking to join the «Diable» cable car which brings you to the main skiing area : map of the station - driving by car from the campsite : 25 km - walking, along the footpath "decouverte" from Venosc to the 2 Alpes : 1h30 (may be slippery and dangerous in Winter) |

| 8 - How are the roads in winter, need snow chains

In winter, the roads to come here are rapidly cleaned, there is no bend, nor high altitude roads to come via Grenoble, Vizille. Caution, if you come from South ( via col du Lautaret, Montgenevre, Briançon) : driving may be very difficult when snowing. In any cases, coming in Winter in the Alps, in mountains, we strongly recommend you to have a shovel and snow chains ( and to have tested the chains at home quietly) |

| 9 - Which precautions for winter holiday

- Have snow chains, a shovel, cf previous response. Gloves, warm and et supple.
- Wedges to raise the wheels of your caravan or motor-home (to prevent that they would be blocked in the ice after melting-freezing) - Check that your engine cooling liquid is protected against freezing. Same for your windows cleaning liquid. - Is your battery in good condition ? By very low temperature, a battery in poor condition can collapse quickly. - Think that the internal water pipes of your caravan or motor-home can freeze (even if the seller said you that it was impossible) it's preferable to use the campsite sanitary equipment. - When you come with a caravan or motor-home, check that it's adapted to cold conditions (good insulation, good tires, good internal ventilation, good heating) do not block the ventilation holes, you would get lots of water condensation inside.. - On the winter camping pitches, there is no water tap, nor waste water drain (because of the freezing). You will fill water by coming close to sanitary with the motor-home (a hose is at your disposal). There is a chemical toilet protected against freezing ahead of sanitary. - If you go alone for a trip in the mountain where there is nobody else, think to inform somebody. |

| 10 - Which temperature, how is the wheather

- WINTER At Venosc : temperature can be very cold (-10°C by night). Rarely below -15°C by night, - SUMMER : during the day can be very warm and fresh by night (in the tent have a blanket or duvet) The climate in this Oisans massif is intermediate between northern Alps and southern Alps. Generally, rather dry and less cold than in the Savoies. Temperatures are close to those of Gap-Briançon A weather forecast for 4 days at les 2 Alpes. But weather forecast is not easy in mountains. The conditions can change quickly and vary with the altitude and from a valley to another. Nul n'est devin ! (certainly not Meteo-France...) |

| 11 - Arrival and departure times, late arrival

- Arrival time : 2.00 pm > 7.00 pm
- Departure time : 8.00 am > 10.00 am for an accommodation, 8.00 am > 11.00 am for a camping pitch - In case of late arrival : past 7.00 pm, contact us as soon as possible ( 00 33 (0) 476800738) in order to prepare your arrival. CAUTION : after 10.00 pm, it will not be possible to enter in the campsite with car, caravan, motor-home, motorcycle |

To see the map of the campsite
You can indicate us your preferences. We will do our best to satisfy your wishes. If we cannot, we will tell it to you in advance. Please, understand that the best places are also the earlier reserved and for the longer stays. It is very important to indicate us the number and size of your fittings (tent, caravan...) when you book. If you change it, inform us as soon as possible. A given place can be excellent for a tent and not at all for a caravan ! |

| 13 - Pets

You can come with your pets (dogs, cats), except for agressive breed.
You must have with you their vaccination documents updated. You must keep them on a lead on the campsite.
You will have to check they are not noisy and are not an embarassment for your neighbours.
Caution : You will not be allowed to enter in the National Ecrins Park with your pets. |

| 14 - To come up to Venosc without car, by bus, train, airplane

- Bus : from Grenoble (bus station close to the train station) timetable transisere network.
line Grenoble > Venosc > La Berarde (Summer holidays only) line Grenoble > Bourg d'Oisans > les 2 Alpes (Summer and Winter season only). From les 2 Alpes, go down to Venosc with Venosc cable car. line Grenoble > Bourg d'Oisans (all year). At Bourg d'Oisans (12 km from Venosc) taxi or hitchhiking. - Train : SNCF station at Grenoble (65 km from Venosc) - Airplane : Grenoble airport many low-costs links from Europe. At the airport, you can rent a car, there are also buses for Grenoble station. |

| 15 - Ski-pass : daily or weekly ski-pass, ski lessons

- The daily ski-pass is more economical for people who are not sure to ski every day
- The weekly ski-pass is more economical for people who will ski every day. - The advantages we offer about ski-pass : stay and ski - For the persons who will have ski lessons, the Ski Schools offer very economical packages «lessons + ski-pass» : the ESF at les 2 Alpes. | 16 - To bring my caravan for whole winter season

- You can bring your caravan at Champ du Moulin for storage in winter season (15 december >> 30 april)
- When you are not here, you pay for the storage, winter prices. - When you are in your caravan, the regular prices conditions of the campsite apply. (the 10 and 15% discounts for long stay apply to the addition of your stays in the caravan) - You can reserve on-line your place, select : pitch, enter your dates, validate, then select pitch for caravan storage in winter We recommend you : check that your caravan can withstand the weight of the snow (we do not clean the roofs), if necessary, reinforce the roof with wooden pillars. |
